BOK in formation

[Latest : 27Sep18 - East chapter 2 page 7, published]

What is it?

an expression of the unity of all that is
discovery of the centre of that unity

Why the title?

It was to be a book of loose pages stacked in a box.
All titles are compromises.

How is it read?

The shortest unit that makes sense alone is the stanza.
There are four stanzas arranged clockwise within each page :

Night, Morning, Day and Evening.

Each page can be read as a unit and is associated with a day of the year (see calendar, which also gives dates of publication).

There are nine pages to a chapter, arranged in a spiral beginning at the top left and ending at the centre of the chapter.

Similarly arranged, there are nine chapters to a quarter.

The four quarters that make BOK are, arranged clockwise :

West, North, East and South.

To enjoy BOK, read a stanza, or a page, at any time and in any order that pleases you.

To read all completed pages in one place open this file in Google Earth.

Readings are being recorded and made available at the stanza and page levels.
These are not definitive, but examples of how they may be read.
If you feel that you could improve on the reading, please send your version to the email address below.

When will it be finished?

Pages are being completed from the centre outwards. The calendar gives each page's publication date.
The project began around 1980.
The author was then 'Nel mezzo del cammin di nostra vita...'.
A race began with two runners: Calliope and Thanatos.
It will be finished when one wins.
However, what you can read is finished; there will be no editing of published pages.
